50% of those eligible to receive assistance not
The big jam in the enforcement of the Unit in Valencia is in the tens of thousands of people to which the Generalitat and have been recognized as eligible to receive aid as prescribed by law but not they are paid.
According to latest official data, from earlier this month, the sum amounts to 36,989 people. And, in relative terms, it is a bottleneck that is choking it to the Ministry of Social Welfare, to the extent that a year has increased this problem. The report of the Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality, February 1, shows that in the Valencian Community has recognized 74,595 people eligible to receive a benefit because they can not fend for themselves and adhere to the criteria established by the Law Unit. Of these, only 37,606 receive some of the allowance due, representing 50.4% of those entitled to receive it.
